Wireless Wind Speed Sensor Description

Wireless wind speed sensor can accurately measure wind speed when connected to a UbiBot wireless data logger. This aneometer is compatible with the WS1-Pro series wireless data logger (USB) and GS1 series environmental data loggers (audio) as well as the SP1 WiFi smart plug (audio).

Applications – Build a Custom Weather Station with the Wind Speed Sensor:

Combine several UbiBot accessories with a GS1 environmental data logger to build a custom weather station to measure rainfall, solar intensity, wind speed and direction, temperature, and humidity.

Connect your custom weather station to the UbiBot cloud with WiFi, SIM or ethernet (depends on the GS1 model) and use the mobile app or web console to review historical and current conditions. UbiBot IoT Platform, App and Alerts:

Your UbiBot wireless data logger automatically synchronizes data with a WiFi, SIM or Ethernet network connection (model dependant) to the UbiBot IoT Platform. You have remote access to your data via UbiBot App or Web Console platform on a PC anywhere in the world and allowing you to receive alerts via voice, email, SMS and the App, and monitor the environment in real time.

Notes

• A UbiBot wireless data logger can accept one wind speed sensor only.
• This sensor to measure wind speed should be connected to the lower USB port (USB2) on the WS1 Pro IoT data logger.
• Wind speed sensor settings are disabled by default. Please enable it in “Settings” in the App or Web Console after connecting the probe to the device. The GS1 environmental data logger doesn’t need this operation
• When working with GS1-1DS series environmental data logger, the wind speed sensor is not compatible with DS18B20 temperature probe
• This product works exclusively with UbiBot IoT data loggers.
